Their storylines – though always predictable – made you believe in some fairy tale version of romance. The girl was always from a poor background and the guy from an affluent family. The guy’s family would disapprove of their relationship and would do anything to make sure the couple broke up.

Long story short, the couple would always end up together and throw a huge wedding at the end of the show proving that love always conquers all.

Don’t get me started on how good looking the cast members were.

And the love making scenes – mmm those love scenes.
