Actress, Omoni Oboli has asked her fans to shower prayers on her family after losing her father who died in a car accident.
The movie producer who recently celebrated her 39th year birthday wrote about the loss on Instagram yesterday as she hoped to find comfort in God.
“The devil is a liar, pray for me and my family,” her post read.
This is coming three weeks after another Instagram post where she reminisced about a good time she had with her father in Asaba, Delta State, where she was promoting her new movie, "Okafor's Law".
"Throw back Tuesday with my dad...my biggest otinkpu! Still a daddy's girl! He made sure Asaba was lit for us!
"Thanks dad ❤ My dad has seen all my movies and he thinks #OkaforsLaw is the best so far."
Before this, Oboli had faced some challenges following a court order in March 2017 ordering the seizure of the movie around the time it was expected to be premiered.
This was due to a copyright infringement and trademark violation suit filed by Raconteur Productions Ltd. which claimed that she hijacked the film story from writer, Jude Idada.
A ban restricting the actress from continuing with the premiere of the movie was however lifted following a counter suit.
A further hearing concerning the copyright infringement battle has been adjourned till May 17, 2017.
