She made this revelation to Kiss where she refuted claims that her break up was a publicity stunt to pique interest in her single ‘Nalia’

“The break up is not a stunt. We are no longer together and I will never get back with him. I have already moved on, as a matter of fact, I’m seeing someone else,” she declared.

She also addressed claims that Nalia was written by Otile and that the model in the video Calisah was actually Otile’s close friend.

“Otile never even knew I was gonna do a song. If anything why would he write for me a song that is dissing him? My management booked Calisah as a model for my music video since he’s a professional model. I had to fly him in from Tanzania. He doesn’t even know Calisah at all. Never met. Never talked. Knows nothing about him. Why would he claim he’s friends with him? He can’t just come out of nowhere and take credit for my work,” Vera said.

Acrimonious breakup

Vera and Otile’s breakup was nothing short of ugly with Vera accusing Otile of using her and in turn, Otile accused Vera of trying to coerce him into getting a kid with her.

Vera was not done with Otile yet and spilt all the tea on her sexual history with the singer.
