The bubbly presenter recently took a break from being ‘The Queen of the Airwaves’ to jet off to a lavish vacation.

Mwende was joined by her girl Lucia Musau for a weekend of fun and sand at the exclusive Diani Reef Beach Resort & Spa.

Mwende was photographed enjoying some coconut water known locally as ‘madafu’ and in another pic, she was photographed ready to dig into a sumptuous meal.

It wouldn’t be a beach holiday if one did not soak up the sun and Mwende was spotted basking at the five-star beach resort before taking a dip in the pool.

Mwende joins the increasing number of celebrities taking a break from the hustle and bustle of the city for a quieter scene.
