Ommy Dimpoz makes first public appearance [Photo]

Tanzanian singer Ommy Dimpoz has made his first public appearance, after he was discharged from hospital in Germany.

Ommy made his first public appearance in Mombasa, where he has been recuperating after his treatment in Germany.

In a photo shared by Kenyan Gospel singer Willy Paul, Dimpoz seems to be responding well to treatment and is in good shape.

Willy Paul went on to caption the picture with the words, “Happy to see you my brother!! @ommydimpoz.”

Specialized treatment

This comes a few days after it was reported that he had been taken in for specialized treatment after his first surgery in South Africa.

Ommy Dimpoz’s father Mzee Nyembo was the first to reveal that his son was undergoing specialized treatment in the European country and also details of his return to Kenya, where he has been recuperating in Mombasa, under Governor Hassan Joho’s care.

“Mwanangu sasa anaendelea vizuri kwani upasuaji aliofanyiwa umempa nafuu na hivi ninavyoongea na wewe ameruhusiwa kutoka hospitali nchini Ujerumani na yupo Kenya anakofanyia kliniki yake akisimamiwa na meya wa Mombasa ambaye ndiye anayempatia msaada wa matibabu. Watanzania waendelee kumuombea Dimpoz ili arudi kama zamani kwani anavyoenda kwa sasa ni matumaini yangu atapona haraka na kurudi kwenye hali yake ya kawaida,” said Mzee Faraji Nyembo.

The Wanjera singer underwent his first surgery in June after he had trouble eating and drinking.
