Speaking to , the comedian denied having any plans to walk his girlfriend down the aisle and that the reports were false.

He added that he also read the wedding reports from blogs just like everyone else, including how he travelled to Italy to pay dowry.

“I am not aware of any September wedding. I also read about my September wedding with Chantal and how I went to Italy and paid dowry. I keep asking myself where they get the stories from, not one person has called to ask me about this but I see stories out there just like you,” said Eric Omondi.

His response came after earlier reports indicated that he had revealed their wedding would take place sometime September next year, in an interview with a popular radio station in Kenya.

Disappointment

He also expressed his disappointment in how blogs ran stories about him without reaching out to him for a comment to get their facts right.

“Bro, Monday I read from blogs that I am wedding in September, today I hear that I have broken up with my fiancée where do these bloggers get the stories from because no one has called me. We are good and bloggers should get their facts right,” said Eric.

A few days ago however, Eric Omondi in an interview with Citizen TV’s Friday night show 10 over 10 said that he was already married to Chantal and would only have a wedding to formalize their marriage.

“I never used to know this. By the laws of government if you stay with a man for more than six months you are married. So mimi nitafanya tu harusi to solemnize. Yes I’m a married man. Not everybody does a wedding,” he said in the interview.
