Police confirmed that the Machakos businessman was injected with a lethal substance and his body was found in his car.

According to Masinga OCPD Francis Siror, the 53 year-old contractor was found dead with his hands tied to the driver's seat with 100 needles near his body.

The body had blood stains on the stomach which appeared to have been caused by a syringe.

Standard reported that the tycoons body was discovered after suspicious residents and Mikuyu Sub-Chief Ngovi Muasya noticed the vehicle parked on the road side for hours with its doors wide open.

Police retrieved Mwangangi's body which was taken to Embu Hospital mortuary, as they launch investigations into his death.
