Professional career
H.E Josphat Nanok has previously held senior positions including top consultancies with the UN – WFP in Kenya, South Sudan and Eritrea. He has also worked with Oxfam GB in Kenya, Uganda and South Sudan.
Political career
He has since served as the Cabinet Assistant Minister of Agriculture & Livestock Development. He has been a member of Parliament for Turkana South
he also served as a Member for Turkana South on an Orange Democratic Movement Party.
Nanok has one of the most challenging tasks of ensuring that the staggering resource base in the county is converted to tangible everyday benefits for the residents of the county.
His deputy governor is Peter Ekai Lokoel and is affiliated to Orange Democratic Movement.
