The Weeknd Is Nearly Unrecognizable With His New Look

The Weeknd was sporting a brand new look when he stepped out at the Toronto International Film Festival on Monday night, TMZ reports . The Canadian singer-songwritermaking his acting debut in a new movie called Uncut Gemstraded his flat top for an afro and trimmed his facial hair down to a mustache:

The Weeknd has always played around with his personal style. Around the time of his album Beauty Behind The Madness, which featured the chart-topping single "Can't Feel My Face," The Weeknd was known for his longer 'do:

And now we arrive at the Lionel Richie-esque look. Could the Weeknd be getting ready to channel Richie in his next musical chapter? Could you picture a Weeknd song in the style of "All Night Long"? It would rule.

The Weeknd's new look comes just over a month after the latest break-up in his on-again/off-again relationship with model Bella Hadid. He's freshly styled, newly single, with a new movie career to boot. Could he be gearing up to fire off some new bangers too? We can only hope.
