According to one of the school’s teacher, some of the students had requested to go home because they feel unsafe.

“The school has not been closed. Some students from all forms want to go home because they feel unsafe in school,” she was quoted by The Star.

The fire was however contained an hour after it broke out and all the students were accounted for.

The fire broke out a week after the tragic Moi Girls fire that claimed 9 lives.
