In the ruling, the High Court extended the anticipatory bail for the Nation Media Group journalists to March 20.

The High Court had barred the police from arresting the NMG journalists Linus Kaikai, Larry Madowo and Ken Mijungu, after they moved to Court on Thursday to stop the State from arresting and prosecuting them over airing Raila Odinga’s swearing-in ceremony.

The three Nation Media journalists were on Wednesday forced to spend the night at the Nation Centre offices after flying squad officers were deployed to arrest them.
