A team of Members of Parliament drawn from Amani National Congress (ANC) divulged that Musyoka, Wetangula and Mudavadi are in talks to pick one of them who will head the opposition coalition.

Speaking at a meeting which brough together ANC, Ford Kenya and Wiper MPs, the legislators including MPs Alfred Agoi (Sabatia), Omboko Milemba (Emuhaya) and Ayub Savula (Lugari) maintained that NASA would stand even without Odinga.

“The three principals have been meeting to deliberate on strengthening NASA and agree on who will be the coalition’s frontrunner,” said Agoi.

Claims by Minority leader in Parliament that Orange Democratic Movement had joined the government also surfaced with the MPs faulting Mbadi for making such claims.

The MPs also divulged that Wetangula, Musyoka and Mudavadi will not relent on the fight for reforms and will carry on with the watchdog role even in the absence of Odinga.

The three NASA principals slammed Odinga for keeping them in the dark on his talks with President Kenyatta and termed the deal an agreement between two people and not a involving NASA.

They have since sought audience with President Kenyatta as they consult on the way forward following the recent developments.

Meanwhile, Odinga and Kenyatta are set to embark on a nationwide tour to promote unity among Kenyans following the hotly contested elections that left the country deeply divided.
