Her passion about Kenya and the affairs of its people primarily drove her into the murky waters of Nairobi politics, a totally different course. ‘Politicians’ tend to front their ‘self-interests’, in a bid to regain what they spent during the campaigns.

Suzzane believes that Kenya needs young and energetic leadership to bring back the fading glory. She vows to mobilise resources in the top county to have access to health care.

She is deeply concerned with how Kenya as a country is losing her shine, joblessness among the youth being a major issue in her quest for the seat. She was irked by the thousands of Kenyans who are seeking hope and therefore she intends to influence the progress of Kenya through the parliament.

She opted to be independent after she realised that the ideologies of the existing parties and hers did not at all match.

She believes that having two or more parties which do not have the best ideologies to drive the country is mere coercing people into choosing “between one devil and the other”.

Suzzane is muffled by the fact that Kenyan politics is actually punctuated by specific thresholds, including but not limited to financial muscles, parties, tribe and regional backgrounds. She is out to change the narrative.

As at a ‘political tender’ age of 23, Suzzane has opted to take on archaic leaders in the city – Nairobi. She believes that her own ideologies matter a great deal and cannot be ignored.

She will be facing Jubilee's Johnson Sakaja and Edwin Sifuna of ODM, among others.

Her favourite quote
