Dan Spilo While he looks tough on the outside, Dan says that he's actually a "big softy." However, host Jeff Probst told The Hollywood Reporter that Dan "won't hesitate to make moves. I wouldn't trust him at all, as you shouldn't anybody out here." CBS/Facebook

Dean Kowalski 28-year-old Dean believes he's the full package when it comes to Survivor: "My social intelligence will allow me to read when to go big and when to fall back. I strongly believe in my ability to get along with and be liked by a variety of different people...Additionally, my athletic and puzzle abilities will make me a threat within challenges." Elaine Stott The Kentucky native loves "four-wheeling, fishing, and taking my boat to the lake," but she also has a soft side. Elaine is loyal, and kind, and she took care of her grandfather and mother before they both passed. CBS/Facebook

Elizabeth Beisel Elizabeth is an Olympic medalist, and she was the youngest member of the United States Olympic Team in 2008 at just 15 years old. She applied to be on Survivor because she "misses challenging myself and bringing myself to the edge." CBS/Facebook

Jack Nichting While Jack believes that people think he's "ditzy," he says that there's more than meets the eye when it comes to his personality. "I can be quite intellectual, intentional, and LOVE having serious, deep conversations with people," he says. CBS/Facebook

Jamal Shipman The Brown University graduate says that he relates to former Survivor players like Jeremy, Wendell, Officer Sarah, and Christian. Jeff Probst also told THR that Jamal has "a big presence but a much softer energy." CBS/Facebook

Janet Carbin Janet currently lives in Florida and she listed her hobbies as "body surfing, softball, and rowing lifeguard boats," so we know she'll be at home in the water. Janet applied for Survivor because "it's my dream. And the money!" CBS/Facebook

Jason Linden The NYC native started his own law firm, and he says he's a mix of some of Survivor's most memorable players"I'm s mix of Stephen Fishbach/Adam Klein/Cochran 2.0/Rob Cesternino and weirdly a little Tony Vlachos. Karishma Patel Karishma is another lawyer on the cast, and she says that she's taken and passed three state bar exam on the first try. Jeff Probst even called her one of his "favorite people" this season. CBS/Facebook

Kellee Kim Kellee describes herself as "fun, energetic, and driven"but just don't ask her to eat mayo. "I hate mayo; if I had to eat a tub to get to the Final 3, I'm not sure I could do it," she hilariously explained. CBS/Facebook

Lauren Beck Lauren moved across the country at just 17, and she says that tenacity is her strong suit. She also compared herself to two-time winner Sandra, who is one of the castaways' mentors this season. CBS/Facebook

Missy Byrd The 24-year-old veteran lists former player Kim as her role model in the game. "She hit the sand and aligned quickly. She played both sides effortlessly. I would play like this. Kill 'em with a smile," Missy says. CBS/Facebook

Molly Byman Molly says that she's not bothered by "discomfort and being dirty," so the sandy beaches of Fiji won't be a problem for the law student. CBS/Facebook

Noura Salman Noura spent part of her life in the UK, and she says she'll be successful because of her special blend of skills. "I'm the nerd, jock, and model with brains, brawn, and beauty. Ronnie Bardah Ronnie is a professional poker player, and he holds the world record for most consecutive cashes in the World Series of Poker main event. He says his Survivor pet peeve is when people misplay immunity idols. CBS/Facebook

Tom Laidlaw The Canadian native is a retired hockey player, and he's sure to be a force in the physical challenges. However, he has one Achilles heelhe doesn't like heights. CBS/Facebook

Vince Moua Vince explained that he's on Survivor to "show minority young folk and people across the world that they matter." He also revealed that he's "got quite a mouth and can smack the Jury with an award-winning final Tribal Council speech to guarantee my win." CBS/Facebook
