Lupita is a girl of many talents and many hairstyles. We gotta give that to her. The A-list actress had a big year in 2018, having scooped many awards, topped the ‘best dressed' lists, graced several fashion magazine covers, bagged endorsement deals and some more movie roles in her already impressive profile. Without a doubt the girl has been on a role ever since she stepped foot into the land of ‘dreams’.

Turns out, she’s taking that same energy with her into 2019 as already, she has won an award! That’s right, on Saturday, 26^th January, during the 25th SAG Awards, Lupita and her Black Panther cast mates won a SAG (Screen Actors Guild) award for ‘Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Motion Picture’.

As always, she stepped out for the award ceremony looking chic and elegant in a Vera Wang outfit was a perfect merger of classy and risque - boasting a formal-ish top and sheer bottom. Talk about an unexpected dimension to an ensemble.

The actress, showing off her many versatile hairstyles wore a curly box braids mohawk and maybe, just maybe, she may have made the mohawk style cool again, as we must admit she definitely revived the hairstyle which is mostly worn as an emblem of non-conformity.

The mohawk history dates to ages ago and there are different theories as to how the style, characterized by shaving the sides of the hair and leaving a middle strip came to be. One thing for sure though, is that while it may not be the in thing at the moment, it’s still definitely trendy a.f and if worn right, you’re sure to make heads turn with this unorthodox do.
