Professional career
Between the 2002 and 2005 he was appointed as a community facilitator International Livestock Research Institute (Northern Tanzania and Southern Kenya Pastoral project) where he charged with bull provision.
In August 2005-January 2010 Nkedianye was a Graduate Fellow, International Livestock Research Institute, Nairobi, Kenya. Nkedianye was appointed the Chairman of Board of Directors, Kajiado Pastoralist Organization in 2006.
Between June 2011-2012 he was the Deputy Co-coordinator/Director of The Centre for Sustainable Dryland Ecosystems and Societies – Kabete Campus-USAID.
Later in between October 2010-January 2011 he worked as a Consultant with International Organization for Migration (IOM)Â working on a study with regard to pastoral livelihood diversification, climate change mitigation and mobility.
Political career
Nkedianye is affiliated to ODM, a party in the NASA outfit. He will be facing PNU’s Daniel Livondo and Jubilee’s Joseph Ole Lenku in august polls.
