Justin Muturi, has been re-elected the National Assembly Speaker.

Muturi was declared the 12th parliament Speaker after beating his challenger by 220 against 1 in round 2.
Muturi won the first round by garnering 217 votes but the selection had to go to the second round because the required 2/3 threshold was not meet.
He is the Seventh speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya.
Muturi will be deputised by Kuresoi North MP Moses Cheboi who will occupy the seat of the Deputy Speaker after he was the sole candidate to have submitted his nomination papers at the expiry of the set deadline.
