Jennifer Lopez And Alex Rodriguez Share Proposal Photos On Instagram After Weekend Engagement

Jennifer Lopez may have showed off her stunning mega-carat ring on Instagram over the weekend, but it's the proposal photos that Alex Rodriguez and J.Lo just posted to their Instagram accounts that people stop gushing over today.

A-Rod posted his photos first, and let's just say the moment he proposed to J.Lo was pretty, well, perfect. As in, the water is so gorgeously turquoise that it looks fake (is it? please tell me!), Alex is staring at Jennifer's hand so intensely, you can just imagine ALL THE FEELS (or maybe he's scared of dropping the ring in the sand...'cause that'd be bad), Jennifer's dress is flowing elegantly in the breeze, and her hand-over-mouth face captures what we're all thinking: OMG, yes, yes, yes.

The caption is simple and equally adorable: "Locking it down. <3 #futuremrsrodriguez."

A few minutes later, J.Lo posted almost the exact same photo, just seconds before Alex put the ring on her finger. In this one, A-Rod is grinning at J.Lo as he holds open the ring box.

Both J-Rod photos are garnering quite the reaction, breaking fans' heart-eyes and applause emoji keys. J.Lo's received nearly 623,000 likes in just 12 minutes. Because even if you don't love her, let's be honest: You'd have to have a dark soul not to double tap this special moment.
