Through his Instagram account, Bwana DNA posted for the first time with a message directed to the public and the media fraternity.

In his statement DNA has appreciated the way media covered the death of his son Jamal Ali Waweru.

“Family,friends & fans-Thank you all for your support. Thank you media fraternity for being respectful in your reporting. I love you Jamaal.” Shared DNA.

According to reports DNA’s son Jamal Waweru died after drowning in his school’s swimming pool on March 29 , 2018.

Jamal was rushed to Nairobi Women’s Hospital in Lang’ata after the fateful incident where he was pronounced dead.

The nine-year-old’s body was then transferred to Shalom Funeral Home. He was in class three.

According to an advertisement placed on a local daily, DNA’s son will be laid to rest at the Lang'ata Cemetery on April 5, 2018.
