According to the activist, CS Fred Matiang’i and his Information Communication and Technology (ICT) counterpart Joe Mucheru, together with the Communications Authority (CA) board members failed to switch back on TV stations.

This is despite having a court order that directed them to do so pending a hearing and determination of the case he had filed in court.

Omtata had on Thursday last week filed a petition at the Milimani law courts against the directive by the government to switch off the three major TV stations, NTV, KTN and Citizen TV.

The court then directed that the government restored live transmission of the TV stations but nothing has been done so far.
