Khaemba was arrested earlier on in the day and taken into custody at the Kilimani police station for wearing protective gear without a permit from the police.
He was covering the protests currently happening at Kibera following the presidential results announcement yesterday declaring Uhuru Kenyatta as the president elect.
KTN produced the licences showing that Khaemba was indeed permitted to have his protective gear on.
Khaemba revealed that their protective gear was confiscated and they are required to appear before the Kibera Margistrate Court on Wednesday August 16 at 8.00 am.
