According to reports reaching PLive. Khaemba was arrested for wearing protective gears without a permit from the police.

“KTN journalist Duncan Khaemba arrested by police in Kibera. At kilimani police station now. Police taking issues with his protective gears he is wearing” one of his colleagues at KTN raised concern in a Journalists Whatsapp group.

The police who arrested the journalist claimed that he doesn’t have a permit of wearing the bullet proof Jacket and Helmet.

His bosses have gone to check on him at Kilimani police station and sort the issue out.
