She is the County Convener of the Kenya Women Political Caucus (Lamu), Founder of the Pamoja Vision Network as well as Patron of the Lamu East Professionals.

She is Member of house committee on Lands, Housing and Urban Development Committee, and Implementation of Constitution Committee. She joined politics in 2013.
