She is a lawyer from the University of Nairobi. She is the chairperson of Committee on Regional Integration  and Parliamentary Select Committee on Miraa.

She is a member of Member of Justice and Legal Affairs Committee, House Business Committee, Liaison Committee and Welfare Committee.
