She is a holder of a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and a Higher Diploma in Marketing and Public Relations and is currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

She is a member of the Public Accounts Committee and Energy Information, Communication & Technology Committee at the Kenya National Assembly.

She dumped her extensive banking career to join politics and she is affiliated to Jubilee party.
