Professional career

He served as an Administrative Assistant of Otieno Kajwang & Co. Advocates. He was also Trained Graduate Teacher of Moding Secondary School in Busia.

Political career

He was elected for Amagoro Constituency in the National Assembly of Kenya in the parliamentary election of 2007. He is affiliated to ODM, a member party of the National Super Alliance, NASA. He won the nominations to defend his seat in August polls. He will however be facing Paul Otuoma as an independent candidate, who disputed ODM primaries.
