Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Squeeze 'Shampoo' Out Of a Steatocystoma
In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper aka dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD squeezes a squirting steatocystoma on a patients shoulder. The growth, which oozes oily contents, is said to be filled with shampoo-like contents by some fans. Lather up.
In the clip, Dr. Lee makes an incision into the steatocystoma, causing the pressured contents to come flowing out like a waterfall. The pop is so satisfying that the famed dermatologist even puts it in slow motion for good measure. Dr. Lee then goes back in to remove the growths sac wall, which virtually guarantees that the growth is gone for good.
That one was such a good one, a person in the room says. It squirted out!
It definitely deserves a slow-mo, Dr. Lee replies. And it got one.
Of course, fans were quick to liken the pop to food. One fan commented, That looked like hot butter! While steatocystomas are often compared to butter and oil, another fan said this one reminiscent of hair product, commenting, It looks like shampoo!
Steatocystomas are small, benign lumps that are filled with sebum, a yellowish oily substance that helps lubricate the hair, skin, and nails, according to the National Institute of Health .
