In one of her latest Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper is throwing it back to a 2018 YouTube upload that showcases her removing several pilar cysts from her patient's scalp. Pilar cysts are typically benign and develop at a hair follicle and fill with keratin. According to Dr. Pimple Popper who is really dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee these cysts look just like "bao."

In the video, Dr. Lee's patient has multiple pilar cysts that need to be removed, and she goes at them one by one making incisions over the growths before proceeding to squeeze them free with his hands. Once they've popped out, she then takes her surgical scissors and snips them loose.

While she is working to remove one of the cysts, it pops free, and according to Dr. Lee looks just like bao, a dumpling commonly offered in a meal of dim sum. For her patient, it reminds her of the Pixar animated short film that aired before The Incredibles. While Dr. Lee explains that she hasn't seen the film, the flesh-toned pops still look just like little dumplings.
