Watch Dr. Pimple Popper Pop an 'Alfalfa Sprout' Nose Blackhead
In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper aka, dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD shares four of her favorite pops, all of which appear to be sticky blackheads. And wait until you see the one that looks like a bean sprout.
In the first of the four clips, Dr. Lee nicks a growth in a patients arm to give it an avenue of escape. She then uses a comedone extractor to apply pressure, popping out a sticky blacked. Next, the famed derm tackles a similar growth behind another patients ear. Up third, Dr. Lee works her magic on that sprout-like nose blackhead, which snakes out in a stunning white coil. And finally, Dr. Lee tackles what appears to be a back blackhead that pops out with amazing ease.
One fan commented, Was that an alfalfa sprout you squeezed out of that nose? Several other fans commented with similar comparisons.
The growths Dr. Lee removes in this video all appear to be blackheads. A blackhead is a single pore filled with dead skin and oil, which forms a black head when exposed to air. The white or tan portion of a blackhead hidden under the surface of the skin is actually the same material as the black cap, only this material hasnt been oxidized to create a black coloring.
