This is some true buried treasure. In a new Instagram video, Dr. Pimple Popper aka dermatologist and TLC host Dr. Sandra Lee, MD fights a stubborn cyst hidden under a patients skin. The growth is so buried that Dr. Lee needs to use a punch-like tool to reach it.

In the clip, Dr. Lee firmly squeezes the cyst with her fingers, forcing out the cysts chunky white contents. But getting out the growths sac proves to be an even bigger challenge. Dr. Lee has to use a surgical punch to cut out a circular piece of skin, allowing her to reach the deeply embedded sac with ease.

I know its important to actually remove the whole sac because if I don't, then it has a higher chance of just coming right back, Dr. Lee tells the patient. Dr. Lee is able to punch the sac right out with expert precision, making this stubborn cyst a goner.

The cyst is likely epidermoid cyst , which contain a collection of wet dead skin cells and keratin . This type of cyst can occur on the face, neck and body.
