Uhuru suspends sale of alcohol in bars and restaurants in 5 counties

President Uhuru Kenyatta has banned the sale of alcohol in bars and restaurants in Nairobi, Kajiado, Machakos, Kiambu and Nakuru counties until further notice. 

In his address, the President has said that these counties have been declared disease infected counties. 

The President has further ordered for the cessation of movement in these counties effective midnight Friday, 26th March 2021.
