Whether you played the original Tony Hawk's Pro Skater for Nintendo 64, Sony PlayStation, or the Sega Dreamcast, one thing's for certain: you've got lots of memories. But even above the gameplayrevolutionary for its time!you probably remember the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater soundtrack. And with the game being relaunched and remastered this fall (a new version of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 and 2 will be released for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC on September 4), it's time to think about just how awesome that soundtrack is once again.

The nostalgia is about to start flying back. With some of the most memorable punk rock, alternative, and hip-hop choices of the '90s, the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater soundtrack has become something of a cult legend. All of these songs are so recognizable as being part of the game's lore; sure, the pop punk/ska-facing music of Goldfinger is more than well-known on its' own, but it's also hard to hear "Superman" (an absolute, unquestoned jam!) without thinking about dropping into a halfpipe and grinding a rail.
