Kenyan fashion blogger stuns the world at International event

Renowned Kenyan fashion blogger, Silvia Njoki, made heads turn at the 70th annual Cannes Film Festival held in Paris, when she stepped on the red carpet.

Ms Njoki graced the grand event which started on 17 May and closed on 28 May, donning a beautiful figure hugging blue dress.

The stylist then accessorized it with a stunning beaded necklace, which captured the attention of many.

“Red carpet moments at the premiere of the ‘In the fade’. I ‘ve never been so nervous about hitting a red carpet. I wanted an African inspired ensemble so thank you @mslelob for this stunning neckpiece that turned heads everywhere,” Njoki said.

Glitz and glamour was what defined Cannes Film Festival and from the overwhelming reaction Ms. Njoki represented Kenya pretty well.

Among the big names at the Festival included veteran actor Will Smith, Jessica Chastain, Pedro Almodovar and Fan Bingbing, who were all part of the jury.
