Samuel Kimani Wachira will now be represented by Wahome Thuku, a Nairobi lawyer famous for his engaging legal debates on Facebook.

On Wednesday, Thuku announced that his client had been discharged from hospital and asked members of the public to allow the patient time to recover.

The lawyer did not immediately disclose if Kimani would be suing the KNH management for the damages caused to his client's health.

It is, however, likely that the family will be moving to court to mount a legal battle for medical negligence.

"He is well and recuperating perfectly. He has regained his memory and will soon resume his work. We are now taking him home. His family wishes to request the public to give him time to recover fully," Thuku stated.

Health CS Sicily Kariuki has already dismissed KNH CEO Lily Koros over Kimani's incident.
