The Kyadondo East MP landed in Nairobi as he returned home after being treated in the United States for injuries he sustained when Ugandan police detained and beat him.

Ugandan police said that only his immediate family would be allowed to receive the MP at the airport, and he would be "availed security" to go to his home.
