Iconic building in Westlands goes up in flames [Video]

Promenade building located in Westlands along General Mathenge drive is on fire.

Huge plumes of dark smoke can be seen rising from the building with emergency rescue operations underway.

Initial reports indicate that a generator serving the building burst into flames.

The building which was still under construction had not been occupied.

Reports reaching Pulselive.co.ke indicate that at least have been injured with no major casualty reported.
