The bodies of Constable Cornelius Kipngetich, 28, who was attached and his wife Eunice Wambui were found lying in a pool of blood inside their single room at the police camp.

Nakuru County Police Commander Hassan Barua confirmed the incident, saying that a neighbor had noticed that his knocks at their house were not getting a response.

The officer was based at Piave Patrol Base in Njoro, Nakuru County.

Residents said the couple had been staying well together for the last 3 months with no signs of conflict.
