Kibra residents have taken to the streets demanding the immediate release of National Resistance Movement (NRM) self-declared General Miguna Miguna.

The protest comes two days after a Court Order was issued for Miguna's release but the police are still keeping him in custody.
The protestors took to the streets with posters written with words calling for Dr. Miguna’s release.
The youths barricaded parts of the Southern Bypass with burning tyres.

Miguna was arrested for administering the oath taken by opposition's National Super Alliance (NASA) leader Raila Odinga at Uhuru Park.
Miguna administered the controversial oath alongside Ruaraka MP TJ Kajwang who was arrested on Wednesday evening, and was later released by a magistrate court on Thursday.
