Kenyan Music Producer Magix Enga has today (06.06.21) given a statement after he caused a stir online about his death.

In a post seen by Pulse Live, the producer on Friday night insinuated that he might be in danger sharing, “ I’m gonna die tonight.

However, in a statement on Saturday night, Magix said that he made the statement when he was drunk. 

Heeey, I’m not dead. I appreciate having such caring fans and family. I just can’t give up now. I was drunk zikanisho ni weke post ya umbwakni. Pombe sio supu mimi nimewacha,” read his statement.

Following this post, he gave an additional caption, “Hadi nguvu natoa wapi jameni 😞 watch my new video stress free ❤️❤️.”

On Sunday morning, the producer shared another message, “Warning! Delete your social media applications before you drink this alcohol 🙏🏾 it comes with a spirit that can type and post anything 😞 Have a blessed Sunday.”

 However, this is not the first time Majix has said he fears for his life.

In 2020, Majix claimed that his life was in danger after he was trailed by unknown armed men on Thursday, October 30, 2020.

When giving the statement in 2020, the producer had announced that he was quitting music.

I’m just a guy from Nakuru, I came to Nairobi with a bag and a t-shirt to look for means to make a living. But now I’m done with entertainment. I have stopped making music. No more Magix Enga on the beat because I'm really afraid of death, can’t die now,” he said.
