Interior CS Fred Matiang'i on Tuesday chaired the first National Development Implementation and Communication Cabinet Committee meeting at Harambee House.

All Cabinet Secretaries were in attendance as well as Attorney General Paul Kihara and Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua.

According to officials from Matiangi's ministry, the CSs were formally invited for the meeting by the Head of Public Service last week.

They further disclosed that the meeting kicked off as scheduled at 7 am.

Meeting with Raila's men

The Interior CS chaired another meeting in his new role as the "super CS" last week that involved politicians from Luo Nyanza.

He also involved some CSs including James Macharia (Transport), Mwangi Kiunjuri (Agriculture), Joe Mucheru (ICT) and several PSs to discuss how development projects in the region can be hastened.
