The man was located by Citizen TV at his home in Kayole area, Nairobi.

He became popular after he was spotted holding a polythene bag of Githeri as he awaited to cast his vote on August 8.

In pictures shared on social media, the man who is now a celebrity in the country, is seen carrying githeri in a paper bag.

He has been identified as Martin Kamotho, a City Council cleaner in Kayole, Nairobi County.

The 41-year-old is a husband and a father to one daughter.
