20 arrested in Homa Bay for violating COVID-19 protocols

20 people have been arrested in Homa Bay County for violating Covid-19 protocols and guidelines.

The group was arrested Saturday night in a bar that was operating and included a live band, which has been banned in the county. 

Homa Bay Sub-county Deputy County Commissioner, Jude Wasonga, confirmed that among those arrested were the bar operators. 

The group is currently being detained at Homa Bay police station, awaiting arraignment on Tuesday, 6th March.
