Who Wins 'Bachelor' Peter Weber's Season In 2020, According To Reality Steve
Huge news for members of Bachelor Nation: After months of not knowing exactly how Peter Webers season of The Bachelor ends , Reality Steve says hes finally (finally!) ready to drop some season 24 finale spoiler knowledge. The winner of Pilot Peter's Bachelor season and his jet-setting heart is...drum roll please... Madison Prewett. But, like Steve's been saying pretty much since filming wrapped, this doesn't happen all neat and tidy during the final rose ceremony.
Reality Steve spills all the reali-tea in a blog post that starts off with him talking a lot about how thankless his job is. Finally, blessedly, get gets to the goods.
Heres what you can expect to go down over the two-part Bachelor finale next week, and yeah, you probably didnt see this coming in exactly the way Steve says it will.
According to Reality Steve, Madi left Australia and went home before the final rose ceremony. When Petes mom Barbara can be seen crying and saying "Dont let her go" in that promo fans have all watched a zillion times, she was, indeed, talking about Madi. That super emotional moment happened on the same day she and the rest of Peters family met Madison.
Then, Madison didnt show up to the final rose ceremony (because duh, she left), and Peter called the whole thing off so he could talk to her. She had already gone back home, so the whole production crew had to pack up and flew to the United States so he could talk to her first. (Sleepless in Seattle, eat your heart out.)
"Basically hes saying, 'To know Im making the right decision and have a clear conscience, I need both of you to be here,'" Reality Steve wrote in his blog. "Hes not like 'bye Hannah, I pick Madi.' He doesnt even make a pick either way and says he wont until he at least has a chance to talk to Madison and have them both be there."
Apparently, Peter didnt want Hannah Ann to feel like he only picked her during the final rose ceremony because Madison left (which, fair).
So, fast-forward to when they're back in the U.S., and Peter had to try to win over Madi and her family. "Madisons parents were not overly supportive of this, and Madison did NOT take him back right away either. There was definitely some downtime where nothing was happening between them," Reality Steve wrote. Meanwhile, Hannah Ann was doingIDK. Twiddling her thumbs back home? Trying to minimize her lip gloss routine? It's unclear.
Anyway, Peter finally worked his way back into Madisons good graces, but it took some solid effort. "Peter and Madison were able to talk about stuff but realized how hurt she was by what she did and it was very intense," Reality Steve said.
So, in the end, Peter and Madison are currently together, but theyre not engaged. Fans will see footage of all of this and how it went down in Alabama. (Remember when Madi was spotted filming something with production? Yeah, it likely had something to do with this.)
And that, my good people of Bachelor Nation, is that.
