Kenya started on a low note before picking up to put the score-line at 17-12 lead by half-time.

Sam Onsumu and Davis Chenge touched down once apiece with Darwin Mukidza making two successful conversions plus a penalty kick for the margin.

Hilton Mudariki and Takudzwa Kumadiro scored two tries then Tich Makwanya converted for the hosts’ 12 points at that time.

Coming from the breather, Zimbabwe started as a better side controlling the game but Kenya were keen on emerging winners.
