The 2016/2017 HSBC World Sevens Series ended on Sunday May 21, 2017 with London Sevens being won by Scotland in England.

Kenya Sevens finished the season at a disappointing 12th place with 63 points, down from 7th in 2015/16 and 98 points.

In London, Kenya bagged only five points reached challenge trophy losing 45-5 to Fiji to conclude the disastrous season.

Kenya 7s bagged five points in Dubai, 12 in cape Town, eight in Wellington, two in Sydney, eight in Las Vegas, five in Vancouver, seven in Hong Kong, 10 in Singapore, one in Paris and five in London.

South Africa won the series with 192 points, England were second with 164, Fiji third with 150, New Zealand fourth with 137, United States fifth with 129 while London 7s winners Scotland settled for 7th with 109 points.
