Shots fired in CBD as prisoner escapes

There was tension in Thika Central Business District (CBD) after prison warders fired several gunshots in pursuit of a notorious prisoner.

The prisoner is said to have escaped from the Thika GK Prison prompting an immediate manhunt.

At the time of publishing this report, the wanted prisoner was still at large and is suspected to have taken cover in the busy Thika CBD, a source privy to the matter told Pulselive.co.ke.
