Raila Odinga rushed to hospital after suffering from food poisoning

Mr Odinga was rushed to Karen Hospital after he feel ill from food poisoning.

Doctors at the facility conducted several tests and diagnosed him  with food poisoning.

After treatment he was later discharge from the hospital and according to his spokesman, Dennis Onyango he is currently recuperating at home.

It is still unowned where Raila may have consumed the 'poisoned food'.

On Wednesday, he was expected to address the 4th Annual Devolution Conference in Naivasha but he canceled it last minute.

He is expected to fly to South Africa tomorrow (Thursday) to visit his ailing daughter, Rosemary Odinga who is recovering at an undisclosed hospital after undergoing a successful surgery to remove a non-threatening tumor.
