This comes even as the government is faced with the challenge of a high number of candidates with pregnancies across the country.

At the beginning of KCSE last week, Narok County reported more than 30 candidates did not sit for their exams due to early pregnancies.

This added to the over 60 cases reported in the same county after 31 others failed to take their Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams.

According to government, more than 250 girls have missed their national exams due to pregnancies this year.
