A section of Kenyans expressed anger and dissatisfaction following reports of a planned increase in the price of fuel effective midnight today (Wednesday).

The increase which is expected to raise the price of fuel to Sh127.11 and that of Diesel to 109.96 will see the price of fuel rise to the highest it has ever been, since December 2018.

The increase will see a Sh20.12 increase in the price of Petrol in just three months and Diesel Sh13.56 over the same period.

The increase in price of fuel has a major effect in the cost of living as it pushes up the cost of buying basic household goods.
