Kenyatta’s mean looking bodyguard has become a notable figure always on the President’s side, so much so that the two actually vote together.
Yesterday, as the President was casting his vote at Mutomo Primary School, his bodyguard did not have time to waste and stood closely next to his boss, while at the same time collecting his own ballot papers.
The bodyguard, whose identity is kept a secret for security reasons, is said to be a highly trained member of the recce squad.
President Kenyatta’s new aide de camp Lt Victor Mburu, who role is largely ceremonial, did not vote as army officers do not take part in the voting process.
